7 % of GCC PR revenues come from real estate despite slowdown
The property sector still constitutes more than 7% of the PR billings in the region, despite the fact that GCC real estate companies have reduced their PR budgets in 2010.
Real estate companies used to constitute over 70% of the PR agency billings between 2006 and 2008. Those boom times are gone now, but real estate continues to form more than 7% of the total billings of PR agencies
Active PR signs exclusive partnership with MPR
Active PR the regional strategic public relations and marketing communications consultancy has signed partnership agreement with MPR, one of the oldest established PR agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This partnership is designed to extend the reach of both agencies to deliver effective Client PR campaigns and activity across the GCC, Levant & KSA markets, as well as enable an active exchange of domain, market and industry knowledge between the two Agencies.
This partnership has come about after a thorough review of the Saudi market, PR potential and a partner that can deliver on the ground.
The decision by both parties came into effect during the summer period and has undergone a 'soft launch' where both Active PR and MPR have fine-tuned the working structure and process by managing Client activity both inward and outward bound from the Kingdom.
During the soft launch period, Active PR has travelled to KSA to meet with both media and potential join Clients.
"2008 has been in every way a milestone year for Active Public Relations, from our 5 five year anniversary, to winning both the regional and international CNBC awards, to several key Client wins and the opening of our Saudi office," said Louay Al-Samarrai, Joint Managing Director, Active PR.
"We are excited about this collaboration and the additional insight, and presence it gives our Clients within a very key market."
Mr Badi Al-Badrani, Business Development Manager, MPR commented:
